I have a hive which has been split vertically with one half above a Horsley board. I would like to recombine the hive but there are a lot of bees using the Horsley entrance which it on the opposite side to the main entrance and it is also separated by a brood box and 2 supers.

What is the best way to remove the board? Can I just take it out and let the bees find their way around and down to the main entrance? Or is there a better way?
