Just been out to check my ladies, and it seems there are some mould spores appearing in the syrup.
Thoughts please?
Aside the obvious take it off and bin it could it be getting to warm under the insulation I’ve installed?

Many thanks.

Sugar syrup does start to mould over time..it is easily stopped though by adding a thymol mix to it..

And your thymolated syrup will keep until next year so you dont have to worry about making too much
By the sounds of it youll be removing the feeders soon anyway
