Not having an electricity supply at my bees to benefit from this innovation, to shake frames I have to resort to holding each frame whilst manically going up and down on a 1970’s vintage pogo stick, which in a bee suit is tricky.

Unfortunately the ground being rather uneven means I often end up bouncing out of the apiary entirely before all the bees have fallen off.

Oh the thought, pogo-ing beekeeper bouncing down a field whilst holding a frame followed by bees! It all seems so ... Well English.

There's currently a lot of stuff on eBay at the moment - unfortunately most of the interesting stuff is for collection which puts me out of the running.

eBay has certainty changed in the last ten years. I can remember trying to buy beekeeping kit in 2010 when I started and there was nothing on eBay but now. OMG! you name it.
