Ha ha, I think I will leave it for around 3 weeks before doing anything! After all what's the worse that can happen??!!:)

Still too cold here, I think, for much swarming activity with temperatures rarely above 10 degrees. However I have an 8 frame poly nuc and the queen is now laying on 7 frames with the start of a couple of queencells noted on Saturday - they are getting a bit squashed! They will go into a full sized hive tomorrow.
I have never had an luck with planned bait hives, but might get a couple together soon, just might get lucky this year!

I’m in the south east and have effectively had 2 so far! There were reports around my hive of a swarm of bees in the air around the Easter weekend. When it warmed up and I opened the bees up a few weeks back, 9 sealed queen cells!

Just picked one up down the road so it’s really kicking off here now
