Bee Hive building & a place to share howto's on equipment

Plans are here if anyone wants to make their own. https://beesource.com/build-it-yourself/10-frame-wbc-hive-steve-moye/. I used the plans to build my own so they work. Broodboxes and supers easily and cheaply made from plywood and have lasted well. Ply can even be used for extra summer lifts but they need to be painted. The problem for lifts is the cost of the wood. I made a number using pine and they worked out at £7 per lift just for the wood. When Maisemore had cedar flat pack lifts at £15 it was a no brainer so I bought enough for my hives. The floors can be made of any wood but I had scrap hardwood available. Put coach screws into the bottom of the legs to stop water rotting them. They can also be adjusted for levelling.
