Four hives and a hive stand were stolen from an allotment near Old Buckenham in Norfolk recently. Please contact Norfolk beekeepers if you are offered anything similar to the description below.

"The double hive stand was 'home made' so should be easy to recognise. The hive stand has a space in the middle which is boarded out with plywood to place the hive pieces onto as you inspect.
The hive floors are open mesh floors but redesigned by the owner so they also look very different to any floor that you would buy.
The hives have numbers on apart from one which said Kacey’s bees. Other than that, they are fairly standard Nationals with 8 inch roofs. If there was a hole in the hive, it was generally covered with a small piece of plywood which is always screwed on".

My guess is any colony is rehomed at some time and any marked or unusually made components burned/destroyed.
