Stored Wet Super Framss

How long can wet super frames be stored in boxes..the reason i ask is through the bad start to the year i have a stack that i will probably not use..

If drawn they are probably ok indeffinately. I have found that heather frames I scraped back to the foundation turned rusty on the wires exposed to air and had to be changed.

I store mine dry, however ffrom what I have read, they seem to be fine when stored wet.
As a thought, you might like to put them on a colony at the end of July or in August, say, over an open feed hole. If there is anything of interest, I guess the bees take it down to the colony as they prepare for winter. After a couple of weeks, the supers could be taken off again.

Be careful of wax moth if stored for a long time, boxes must be tightly sealed in my experience

Deffo, Cardboard between boxes helps minimise the damage.

I use scaffolding monoflex between stored boxes and the only thing that could get through that is mice..
