I had a fragmented swarm inaccesably stuck in a hedge that refused to budge and spent 36hrs in torrential downpour while their cohorts and queeny were in a polynuc but inches away.
Today I put some tiny twigs under the lid to see if it would provide extra whiff to entice them back to safety.

Behold !
Great Success.
Admittedly they were Hawthorn not Swan Vesta and they certainly wont be there in February, but the idea was inspired.
