I did an inventory today prior to doing snelgrove splitting
Ive plenty of woodware but Im light on comb
Ive had to prioritise for the four best colonies Id rather would stay around.
Even then Im going to have a max of 9 drawn frames in each box.
Can I dummy down with Kingspan frames or new foundation to make up the shortfall?

Some drawn comb is definitely better than none but not many of us have as many full sets of spare drawn combs as we might like, so I wouldn't worry too much.

In this context I would not dummy down spare space but use foundation to infill it.

If you have some drawn comb, that gives them a quick start, then I would foundation on either side of it.
