Some might have noticed that Nosema Ceranae has been re-named as Vairimorpha Ceranae - seemed a bit odd at first when we had just got used to having Nosema Apis and the new Ceranae apparently arriving in our stocks more recently. However Nosema and Varimorpha were intermixed in two phylogenetic lineages. (Whatever that means!).
So, unless I've got it wrong, there's Nosema apis and Vairimorpha ceranae now.
Here's the complicated stuff if anyone can read and digest it.

May your bees read the same books as you do.
