Mine are working the garden Marjoram quite heavily as well as the lavender. Balsam is well out, but can't see any white ghosts arriving.....yet.
Strange season.

White bees coming in at the H/pool headquarters which means the Balsam has been discovered by the four Nucs..up in the Alnwick apiary the bees where going absolutely bonkers.. the five Queen right hives i have there would make you think they where all swarming (bees everywhere)..but they where not..the weather was good today and the field of Phacilia 300yards away is in full bloom..i just wish the bees had not been so weird this year (swarming wise) which would have meant i had more hives to reap this bounty ..

Balsam well and truly coming in but colonies don't seem to be making an excess yet

Fingers crossed for an Indian summer/autumn

Now that the weather has turned for the better the bees are out in good numbers with lots of pollen being taken in.. i am not sure what the bees are working but i have seen four different types of pollen today..i know the cream coloured is Balsam but the dull yellow/bright yellow and red pollen is unknown to me..
