Good to hear it Steve, how's your season going the weather has been ideal for all the trees so far I think.
The Season started of good and the bees where hammering the rape..had one failed swarm with a clipped Queen lost and then the weather went back to winter..i think that Queen read the BBC news and tried social distancing..it never worked..lol
Do you think the swarm was lost due to the osr?
I've heard stories that it can contribute to bees swarming.
Swarm season will hopefully not show its face here if I've got anything to do with it.

I've been lurking for a while, had a very long - over 30 years long - break from beekeeping but started again a few years ago. Keeping up with the unconventional I do my beekeeping horizontally :o now on the west coast of Scotland. :)
Hey there's more on here than I thought
Murox you know its mark here from Clee Hill?
Yes I thought it was you - who else would use CGF? :D

Yes I saw the PM and thought I would look you up; I read that you're busy lambing again. I did reply to the pm you originally sent but you might not have seen it.

Welcome Murox.
I suspect when many of us moan about our weather you have a sly grin....West Coast Of Scotland is windy.
Thank you. I do indeed, its always windy here even when its good weather - straight off the Atlantic - might have been 20+ degrees in the south yesterday but here it topped out 12 degrees during the afternoon.

Murry It is not much different weather wise for my bees on the north east coast near Alnwick Town..them north easterlies can be brutal and bring the temperature down quite a lot..a 20 minute drive further inland and the temps can almost double..

How do you post links and photos folks?
There is no facility to directly upload pictures to the forum, which is a shame.
You need to host pictures on another site like imgbb.com and then get the address of the picture click the picture icon above and past the URL between the brackets. A good tip if using windows 10 is open picture and got to three dots top right hand side and select resize, chose smallest option and it fits pretty well.
