Always check your pockets on your bee suit BEFORE leaving the apiary and again before putting your suit in the washing machine.
A queen in a cage does not survive a 60 degree wash cycle.

I don't believe you will be the last to do this and you certainly wont be the first to leave the apiary with a caged queen, I am not sure about getting to the washing machine. Thats a new one on me

Always check your pockets as whilst the gloves come out reasonably clean they are then full of water!

Always check the top pocket on your suit when doing your first and only cut out,as you will sweep a bee out of the cavity into your pocket.
It will object and gift you a 007 villan 3rd nipple.
Not that this ever happened to me....
