Brood box is same as before, just has Abelo embossed in it.
But different plastic top edge as the old types where a bit slippery when new and piled on top of one another.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Honestly thought most of my supers would be stuck in the storage container this year, but they are almost all out.

Fitting more foundation the next few days in hope the June gap doesn't hit too soon and too hard.

I rigged up a make shift solar wax melter the other day from a wooden brood box and a double glazing panel...i lined the box with black rubber and insulated the outside..i give it a test run yesterday with three pounds of wax..here is the result from the underside..i think i might frame it.. :D

Looks good Steve! My solar wax melter isn't doing so great a job. I think it needs further modifications.
Hopefully I'll see something like what you have there soon!

Jazz I nicked the idea from Nigel and placed the contraption in the greenhouse..it warms up to just over 70C fairly quickly when there is no breeze on it..

Yup, they do work far better in a greenhouse...sort of triple glazed.

I just made a new hive stand, since the picture was taken I have installed the new hive that is bulding up nicely. I also rendered my first ever bees wax, proud moment. I have also been printing off 3d hive frame holders.

Nice looking stand Liam...well done.
All I've done today is bottle honey as farmers markets are slowly starting up again.
