Revolting French Farmers

Apologies for the crude headline!
Yesterday, Farmers Weekly reported that French growers blockaded Paris in a protest at a ban on neonics for treating sugar beet with up to 500 tractors headed for the French capital's streets.
As in the UK, France had initially introduced a derogation allowing the continued use of neonics but an EU court ruling overturned that in January.

Neonicitinoid seed dressings have been implicated in the loss of pollinating insects including bees.

I thought I saw them drive past on Sunday but it was just the local tractor rally spring run ;)

The ban got overturned by the government but whenever chip off about anything like the French do

Honeybees do very well on OSR treated with neonics.
Does sugarbeet flower?
