Postmenopausal woman taking Tualong (place in Malaysia) honey (20grams per day for 16 weeks ) got a boost to the short term memory. Shame I`m not a woman really, or am Postmenopausal or live in Malaysia.


Conclusions: Postmenopausal women who received tualang honey showed improvement in their immediate memory but not in immediate memory after the interference and delayed recall. This is comparable with the improvement seen in women receiving estrogen plus progestin therapy.

You did ask for alternative uses of honey, I think that's extremely alternative

Here's a picture of Winston - during treatment. He was strimmed or mowed and was brought home to look after (we had a dozen or more hogs at the time). His wound was treated with honey twice per day. The next picture is quite gruesome so if you are of a sensitive disposition, don't look. However, quite amazingly, he recovered.

This is Winston as he came in. As mentioned in the previous post, he made a full recovery, was looked after over winter and was released in spring. That's the power of honey for you!
