Just thinking about beekeeping. Sat in office, looking out thinking what perfect weather it is to go beekeeping . Oh dear

It was a good beekeeping day, very glad of ventilated bees suit,,,worked in shorts and little else (oeer missus).
Got 4 hives ready for tomorrows jaunt to moors and removed and extracted their July honey....nice dark looking stuff.
Used the now emptied supers to clear off another few hives and knock double brood down to single brood in preparation for taking them to the moors later this week.
Trip to moors early AM tomorrow , extract more honey and visit another out apiary to prepare a few more for their annual jaunt. The heather is just starting to turn pink, perfect.

Adam -I didn't mind my huge cloud of bees until they disappeared over the hedge :o
Oh dear is right!

With hope my bees will be content enough to stick around for a little longer. I’ve been lucky to be able to give them space. I hope it’s enough. My hive just seems too tall right now!

I know how you feel Chris, got home from work at 7:30pm - a tad too late for beekeeping

Was down an association apiary tonight. Some standard inspection stuff going on. That got me my fix until my inspection in Wednesday/Thursday, whichever isn't going to be ruined by thunderstorms

The Ozarmour triple layer is guaranteed sting proof and to date has proved it's worth vs the local lasses.
Loaded bees at 17C at 6 AM, just finishing off a coffee and heading for the moors.
